Naz Osmanoglu

Naz Osmanoglu makes crowds roar with laughter on Britain’s comedy circuit. But not everyone realizes that he is an Ottoman prince. You don’t get to meet a royal everyday, much less a prince who speaks candidly about the more dissolute episodes of his life. But that’s precisely what you get during an encounter with Naz Osmanoglu, Imperial Prince of the Ottoman Empire and an up-and-coming British comedian. He regularly performs on the UK comedy circuit as both a stand-up and character act.

Naz has appeared on Live at the Electric (BBC Three), Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC3) and Horrible Histories as a core cast member in series 7. He’s also acted in Drunk Historyfor Comedy Central, Plebs (ITV2) and Bull (UKTV). In 2016 Naz wrote and starred in the series Flat TV alongside Tom Rosenthal for both BBC3 and BBC2.

Most Recently Naz appeared in the highly-praised Inside No.9 (BBC2), Channel 4’s Back, Comedy Central’s Absolutely Fine and Trauma, which airs on ITV in 2018.

Naz is a member of acclaimed sketch trio WitTank who has regularly appeared on Live at The Electric and Sketchorama (Radio 4) and established themselves as Edinburgh Fringe veterans with over ten shows under their belt.
